Queen - The miracle

Después de escuchar a David Bowie y ver que se empieza a ver buena música de verdad por este blog, tenía que seguir con un grupo que ha cantado con Bowie en varias ocasiones, un grupo de los que marcan, o al menos que a mí me marcó. Siempre cuento como anécdota-coña que "de los nueve a los diecisiete años sólo escuché música de Queen". Lo cierto es que se trata de mi grupo favorito a pesar de que hace 17 años que murió su líder: Freddie Mercury.

Escogí esta canción de 1988 "The Miracle", precisamente porque para mí Queen es precisamente eso: un "milagro" de la música. Y también, por qué no decirlo, porque en cuanto mencionas que te gusta Queen todo el mundo piensa en la terna: "We are the champions, We will rock you y Bohemian Rhapsody", las tres grandes canciones, pero Queen es mucho más que eso... Esta canción es un ejemplo, igual que lo es el concierto de Wembley de la gira de 1986, "Live at Wembley 86" del que se editó un doble CD.

Pero para no agobiaros más con esta banda, para mí LA banda, de la que sin duda en el futuro iré contando más detalles, os dejo con el vídeo que es bastante curioso por cierto, en el que los cuatro componentes del grupo se mezclan con cuatro niños que los imitan para cantar la canción:
