Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight

Para mi vuelta al blog después de algún tiempo traigo una balada de Eric Clapton.

Se trata de una canción muy sencilla, ya que ni la melodía ni la letra tienen una gran complicación, pero, para mi gusto, el resultado es conmovedor.

Vonda Shepard - In the neighbourhood

Os pongo hoy una canción de Vonda Shepard, una cantante estadounidense que además de componer sus canciones, toca el piano, bajo y guitarra.

Tiene una voz bastante sorprendente y a pesar de tener discos publicados desde 1987 se dio a conocer en la serie Ally McBeal, en la que se interpretaba a sí misma y a través de sus canciones se iban expresando los sentimientos de la protagonista.

La canción habla de un vecindario... de cuando echamos la vista atrás mirando viejas fotos de nuestra vida cuando éramos pequeños... es una bonita balada.

Martika - Toy soldiers

Pues nada, que hoy tengo el día prolífico así que os dejaré si puedo alguna entrada. Por ejemplo esta de Martika, una estadounidense de padres cubanos que versionó esta canción en múltiples idiomas.

Sonó mucho allá por el año 90... es una bonita balada... os la dejo.

Pues debe de ser que tengo la semana de las baladas... Y aquí va una de la banda sonora de Robin Hood - El príncipe de los ladrones. Es una balada eterna compuesta desde la guitarra eterna del eterno canadiense Bryan Adams del cual os recomiendo su página web y otras canciones como Have you ever really loved a woman?

Os dejo con esta de Kelly Family, una banda creada en el gran año de 1981 y que resultan ser hermanos y hermanas pero nacidos entre Estados Unidos, Irlanda, España y Alemania ¿curioso no?...

Posiblemente una de las mejores baladas que he escuchado nunca. Supongo que porque toda canción tiene su historia y cuando conocí esta canción era la más apropiada para lo que sentía...

Blackmore's Night es un grupo de folk renacentista formado por Ritchie Blackmore y Candice Night. El primero es el exguitarrista de Deep Purple, para más referencias.

Doro - Für immer

Ya que en mi anterior contribución me había arriesgado con una canción en alemán, vuelvo a utilizar una canción de una cantante alemana. Esta vez se trata de Doro Pesch nacida en el año 1964 en Düsseldorf, que antes de iniciar su carrera en solitario fue cantante del grupo de heavy metal Warlock.

La canción, una preciosa balada, lenta lenta lenta, contiene versos en tres idiomas: inglés, alemán e incluso español. Se puede decir que es una de esas baladas que posiblemente todos alguna vez hemos oído pero de la que no sabemos el nombre o quién la canta, simplemente que su sonido es agradable y evoca tardes como esta, en la que se escucha la lluvia a través de los cristales, el fuerte viento y el tráfico que siempre llena las ciudades en estas fechas de rebajas y ajetreos. Una de esas tardes en las que dan ganas de sentarse tranquilamente en el sofá, resguardado bajo una manta y escuchando música que te hace reconfortarte.
