Transiberian Orchestra - The Dreams of Candlelight

Acabo de conocer a este grupo. Lo conocí hace como dos horas y no he podido dejar de escucharlos. Resulta que es un grupo de metal sinfónico creado en 1996 en Nueva York.

Hacen baladas preciosas e incluso versionan canciones navideñas al metal sinfónico. Su nombre es Transiberian Orchestra. Tienen aparte del metal un toque de música clásica en todas sus canciones y esta fusión los hace diferentes.

Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower

Qué decir de él, qué escribir de Jimi Hendrix que no escribiese alguien antes.

Decir que es justamente considerado de los mejores guitarristas que ha habido nunca, y seguramente siga estando entre los mejores dentro de 100 años.

Esta canción la he recordado viendo el último capítulo de Battlestar Galáctica, obviamente la recordé porque suena en él , y quería compartirla con todos vosotros. Creo que es de esas obras, que nunca está de más escuchar aunque solo sea una vez más.

Para mi, de las mejores canciones de la historia.

También conocida como "Ojo del tigre" del grupo "superviviente".

¿Quién no conoce este tema? ¿nadie, verdad?

Este tema del grupo Survivor es famoso principalmente por ser de la O.S.T (original soundtrack) de la película Rocky. Suena esta canción en una de sus mejores escenas, durante el entrenamiento del protagonista.

Hace poco además una versión de esta canción ha sido utilizada para el anuncio del nuevo VW Golf VI.

Eagles - Hotel California

Para esta mañana de sábado os traigo una de mis canciones favoritas, Hotel California del grupo estadounidense The Eagles. Esta canción me gusta para conducir la verdad, ves el paisaje y con esta canción de fondo, parece que todo sucede al compás de esta fabulosa canción.



En teoría la canción habla del mundo de las drogas y todo lo que le rodea, aunque hay quien dice que da un mensaje a la iglesia satánica. Quién sabe.
